Water Freezes

With temps falling below freezing and less than the teens for several days, we were very fortunate to not have more pipes frozen and busted.
Hollywood Theaters has an outside sprinkler system under their awning (required per fire code) that froze and busted, draining down all the water in the system to create a good deal of water damage to the awning and box office. Of course, that meant several days of being closed for cleanup and repair. The box office had to be gutted, new computer equipment ordered, all electrical and light fixtures needed an electrician, and the "new and improved" sprinkler system under the awning now has an "anti-freeze" system in place.
None of the 8 screen theaters were damaged, but shows could not be shown without the mainframe computer system in place, as well as assuring the awning was safe for customers to be near. The theater is open for business now, but some of the work will continue for several days. We are proud of the manager and employees of the the theater for working so diligently to get all the contractors in place for repairs. Thank you for your patience.
